The Belgian midfielder had a harsh reaction to the head coach in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Real.
On social networks, fans shared a video from the stands showing coach Pep Guardiola repeatedly asking Kevin De Bruyne to pass. However, the Belgian player did not follow the instructions of the coach leading to the loss of the ball.
De Bruyne immediately turned to Guardiola and made an angry gesture: “Shut up, shut up”. Facing the students’ harsh attitude, coach Guardiola bowed his head and returned to the technical area.
After the game, coach Guardiola did not blame his students, even saying that this was normal: “When the score was 2-0, we played a bit too hastily. After the break, Ilkay Gundogan constantly let lost the ball, while De Bruyne had three unnecessary passes. I want them to slow down. De Bruyne’s reaction was normal. Overall, we had an excellent game.”
Early this morning (May 18), Man City crushed the Champions League champions, Real Madrid with a score of 4-0 to register for the final against Inter. Also in the press conference, coach Guardiola admitted he is a fan of Barca. So beating Real Madrid makes more sense.
Man City is only 3 matches away from the historic treble. They will be crowned the Premier League king on May 21, if they defeat Chelsea at home, then the FA Cup finals (meet MU) and Champions League (meet Inter).
“Honestly, the final against an Italian team is not the greatest gift,” Pep Guardiola told BT Sport after the game, “But we can think about the treble, we can figure it out. figure it out. We have three games left and we can do it.”
“But let me win the first two (Premier League and FA Cup – PV) already. In the Premier League, we are close to the title. We knew we needed one more game. We will also face neighbors (Manchester United) and an Italian team (Inter Milan) in two finals. The current season is really great. We’re close, and of course we’ll have to make an effort.”
