In a moment of celebration and unity, Lautaro Martinez, the talented Argentine forward, recently tied the knot with the beautiful Agustina Gandolfo. This wedding ceremony holds significant spiritual meaning for Martinez as he prepares to face off against Manchester City in the upcoming Champions League final.

The couple’s wedding was nothing short of a fairy tale. Many of Martinez’s teammates from Inter Milan, as well as his fellow world champions from the Argentine national team, attended the joyous occasion. The venue for this grand event was the stunning Villa D’Este, located on the picturesque shores of Lake Como.

The couple chose to keep the proceedings private and secretive, with only a select few guests in attendance on May 12. The utmost attention was given to every detail, and tight security measures were implemented, making the historic villa in Cernobbio an even more exclusive and inaccessible location.

Although Lionel Messi, Martinez’s compatriot and one of the most renowned footballers in the world, was expected to grace the occasion, he was unable to attend due to his commitments in Barcelona. Disappointed fans, many of whom were wearing Argentina jerseys, eagerly waited for Messi outside the gates.

However, Martinez’s wedding was not short of star-studded attendees. Among them were his teammates and fellow countrymen, who are also focused on winning the 2022 World Cup.

Enzo Fernandez, considered the best young player in Qatar, and Dibu Martinez, recognized as the top goalkeeper, were present.

Additionally, defender Nicolas Tagliafico, midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, who is on the verge of transferring from Brighton to Liverpool, and Ajax goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli graced the occasion.

Achraf Hakimi, who recently left Inter for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), also attended the wedding. Despite his departure, Hakimi shared a strong bond with his former teammates, particularly Martinez.

The sun-drenched shores of Lake Como provided a stunning backdrop for the magical ceremony, which took place in the garden of the enchanting mansion. The bride and groom exchanged their vows on a white carpet adorned with rose petals.

Agustina, who is expecting their second child, wore an elegant white wedding dress with a dramatic slit, while Martinez donned a dark blue waistcoat and white shirt. Their beautiful daughter, Nina, wore a white polka dot dress. The exchange of vows was followed by a passionate kiss.

Appetizers accompanied by music and a banquet in the garden overlooking the lake set the tone for the evening. Dinner was held in one of the rooms inside the villa, featuring soft pink lights, candles, and white roses adorning long tables.

Around 120 guests arrived punctually to share in the joyous occasion. The menu was a culinary delight, including pappa al pomodoro soup, amber tuna, caviar with cheese and crackers, veal wonton, morchella mushrooms, two-course lamb, Lyon potatoes, and carrots in marsala sauce.

For dessert, guests indulged in an apple tatin cake with cream. The exquisite meal was complemented by Chardonnay Grosjean and Langhe Nebbiolo Francesco Rinaldi, two exceptional wines.
