Former top British model Natalie Pike has joined the ranks of Manchester City alongside the likes of Erling Haaland and Pep Guardiola.

Pike, who debuted for the club during the 2008/09 season, is now a broadcaster on Match Day Live and City Square Live channels for the team.
Before becoming a sports presenter, Pike was a successful model, appearing on the cover of FHM magazine and winning numerous contests, including the FHM High Street Honeys model selection. However, she gave up the spotlight on the catwalk to pursue a career with her beloved Man City.
Pike has been a fan of the club since childhood and even had a season ticket at the age of 15, when the team was still in the English third division. She first worked with the club when they invited her to model their new kit for the 2008 season.

“I always feel more comfortable and natural as a host instead of modeling on the catwalk,” Pike said. “I used to walk the FHM red carpet but it can’t be compared to doing a live show about Man City with millions of followers.”
With a university degree in film and media studies, Pike is well-equipped for her role as a reporter at BBC Radio Manchester. She regularly conducts interviews with Man City stars and has found them to be very modest off the field.

Pike’s transition from model to sports presenter is not unique in the world of football.
Many former models have gone on to work in sports media, including Kelly Cates, daughter of legendary Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish, and Georgie Thompson, who worked for Sky Sports before moving to Fox Sports in the US.
In the highly competitive world of sports media, Pike’s background as a model may have given her an edge in terms of confidence and presentation skills.

And with Man City’s continued success on the field, she is sure to have plenty of exciting moments to cover in her role as a broadcaster.
