At the age of 31, Neymar has ventured into the business world, and he is now proud to announce the launch of his long-awaited project: a super yacht named “Ney em alto mar” in his hometown of Brazil.
“Ney em alto mar” is being hailed as the most highly anticipated yacht of all time. While the exact specifications and number of rooms have not been confirmed, promotional materials suggest that it will be a large yacht with at least 7 floors.
The yacht will offer three different types of rooms to cater to various customer segments, with the cheapest room priced at around 1,000 euros per night.
The maiden voyage of “Ney em alto mar” is scheduled to begin on December 26 and end on December 29, 2023, starting from the port of Santos, making stops along the coast of Rio de Janeiro, and returning to Neymar’s hometown.
The official website of “Ney em alto mar” features a picture of Neymar dressed in a captain’s uniform and provides a captivating description of the yacht, including the line: “You are the first passengers of ‘Ney em alto mar’.”
The yacht is presented as a project with a historic mission, and Neymar, the visionary entrepreneur, has assembled a superb team to bring this amazing project to life. The three-day and three-night experience aboard the yacht promises to be filled with activities that Neymar loves off the pitch.
Neymar is not the first Brazilian star to venture into the yacht business. Previous examples include Roberto Carlos, Neymar’s senior in Brazil, who also sold his own brand of yachts. Additionally, other celebrities such as artist Wesley Safadao and singer Xuxa Meneghel, known by her stage name Xuxa, have also been involved in similar ventures.
There is no confirmation yet whether Neymar will be present on the maiden voyage of “Ney em alto mar” as it may clash with his schedule as a player for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
Many fans speculate that launching this superyacht indicates that Neymar will not be moving to the Premier League, as England does not have a winter break and he may not have sufficient free time to dedicate to his new project.
Some pessimistic fans view this business venture as a turning point marking Neymar’s diminishing interest in top-level football.
With his business commitments in Brazil, Neymar will need to frequently travel back and forth to his hometown, potentially disrupting his training, competition, and rest schedule as a professional footballer. However, it should be noted that Neymar has faced distractions off the pitch in the past.
Recently, he and his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi shared the joyous news of welcoming their first child on their personal social media pages. Neymar already has a son named David Lucca da Silva, born in 2011. With all these additional responsibilities, it remains uncertain if Neymar will ever reach the peak form he once displayed on the football field.
