The world’s largest rickshaw super exclusive experience is here, and it’s all about the 150 CASE Trunk Tractor.
This massive crane tractor is one of the biggest the world has ever known, and it’s capable of some incredible feats. At the James Valley Threshing Show in Andover, South Dakota, we did the biggest pull effort we’ve ever done with 150 CASE.
With a mass of about 35 tons, we connected 44 John Deere shovels together to create a plow up to 50 feet in length in one pull.
So, what makes the 150 CASE Trunk Tractor so special? Let’s take a closer look at its features and capabilities.
Engine: The 150 CASE Trunk Tractor is equipped with a 4-stroke, 4-cylinder, in-line diesel engine with a capacity of 2.2 liters.
It’s capable of producing a maximum capacity of 149 horsepower and maximum torque of 490 Nm at 1,500 rpm.
Gear: The tractor uses a 6-speed mechanical gearbox, which can adjust the reverse speed, making towing vehicles easier and more efficient.
One of the most interesting things about the 150 CASE Trunk Tractor is that it’s one of nine original production backbone tractors, but none have survived to this day.
However, the machine has been completely recreated from scratch, following Case’s original plans. With a steam pressure of 180 psi, the machine can produce up to nearly 8,000 foot-pounds of torque. And we’re going to use all of this torsion to pull the plow on the land.
With this huge pulling power, we needed 20 people standing on the shovel to help add weight and traction to this machine. And with the special connection system and support tubes, each shovel is pulled independently.
In addition, on this tractor, there are two control places: one is where the tractor is controlled, and the other is where the fire is controlled.
The 150 CASE Trunk Tractor is a type of agricultural machinery designed for pulling and transporting heavy equipment in the agricultural and construction sectors.
Its main functions include towing heavy tools such as plows, plows, excavators, rollers, stone crushers, and more. It can also be used to transport various heavy materials and equipment such as soil, sand, stone, cement, concrete, and more.
